NicePoints Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the NicePoints reward programme operated by GasDigital Ltd (trading as Nicedeals).

1. About NicePoints
NicePoints is a loyalty reward programme operated by GasDigital Ltd (trading as “Nicedeals”) (“we”, “us”, “our”). NicePoints are virtual reward credits awarded to registered Nicedeals members for completing qualifying activities on the platform. By participating in the NicePoints programme you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
- You must be a registered Nicedeals member aged 16 or over to participate.
- One NicePoints account per person — duplicate or shared accounts are not permitted.
- Employees and contractors of GasDigital Ltd and their immediate family members are excluded from prize draws but may still earn NicePoints.
- We reserve the right to verify identity before releasing any prize.
3. Earning NicePoints
NicePoints are awarded for the following qualifying activities:
- Deal submission: 50 NP when a submitted deal is approved by moderators.
- First deal bonus: 100 NP additional bonus for your very first approved deal.
- Voting: 2 NP per vote, up to a maximum of 50 votes per day.
- Comments: 5 NP per qualifying comment (minimum 15 characters), up to a daily maximum of 20 comments.
- Replies: 3 NP per qualifying reply (minimum 15 characters), counted within the daily comment cap.
- Deal temperature milestones: 100 NP when your deal reaches 100°, 250 NP when it reaches 250°.
- Coupon code bonus: 10 NP when an approved deal includes a valid coupon code.
- 7-day login streak: 25 NP for logging in 7 consecutive days.
- 30-day login streak: 150 NP for logging in 30 consecutive days.
- Referral signup: 100 NP when someone you referred creates a verified account.
- Referral first deal: 200 NP when someone you referred posts their first approved deal.
- Alert setup: 10 NP for setting up a keyword deal alert.
- Profile completion: 25 NP (one-time) for completing all profile fields.
- Founding member bonus: 500 NP awarded to qualifying early members (at our discretion).
Earning rates and qualifying activities may change from time to time. We will publish updates on this page and may notify members by email of significant changes.
4. Daily Caps & Anti-Gaming
To protect the fairness and integrity of the programme, the following daily caps apply:
- Voting cap: A maximum of 50 NP may be earned per day from votes.
- Comment cap: A maximum of 20 comments or replies per day qualify for NicePoints.
- Minimum comment length: Comments must be at least 15 characters to qualify.
- Bulk, automated, or coordinated activity intended to artificially inflate point balances is prohibited.
Accounts showing activity consistent with gaming, bot behaviour, or abuse will be flagged automatically. We reserve the right to investigate, adjust, or cancel the NicePoints balance of any account found to be in breach of these rules, and to suspend or permanently ban such accounts from the programme and the platform.
5. Nature of NicePoints
- NicePoints have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- NicePoints are non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted, or assigned to another person.
- NicePoints do not constitute property of any kind.
- NicePoints are not deducted when used to earn prize draw entries — your balance is used only to determine your entry tier.
- We reserve the right to expire NicePoints balances on accounts that have been inactive for 12 consecutive months. We will notify you by email before any expiry takes effect.
6. Badges
Badges are achievement markers automatically awarded when defined milestones are reached. Badges have no monetary value and are non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify, add, or retire badge criteria at any time.
7. Admin Rights & Adjustments
We reserve the right to:
- Manually award or deduct NicePoints in cases of technical error, suspected fraud, or at our discretion.
- Reset or forfeit NicePoints balances of accounts found to be in breach of these terms or our general Terms of Use.
- Suspend, modify, or terminate the NicePoints programme at any time with reasonable notice.
8. Prize Draw Entries
NicePoints earned in the current calendar month determine your prize draw entry tier. All registered members receive at least one free entry per draw. Higher monthly earnings unlock more entries. See the Prize Draw Rules for full details of how draws work.
9. Reward Redemption
NicePoints may be redeemed for gift cards and other rewards through the Reward Shop. When you redeem a reward:
- The NicePoints cost is deducted from your balance immediately.
- Redemptions are subject to availability. Stock may be limited.
- Gift card codes are typically delivered by email within 48 hours of redemption.
- Reward values, NP costs, and availability may change at any time without notice.
- Each redemption is final once processed. You cannot reverse a fulfilled redemption.
10. Refund Policy
Pending redemptions (those not yet fulfilled) may be cancelled by our admin team, in which case the NicePoints will be refunded to your balance. Once a gift card code has been delivered (status: Fulfilled), the redemption cannot be reversed and no NicePoints refund will be issued.
If you receive a faulty or invalid gift card code, please contact us within 14 days at [email protected] and we will investigate and, where appropriate, issue a replacement or NP refund.
11. Amendments
We may update these terms at any time. We will publish changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued participation in the NicePoints programme after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
